PEP commends the Johnston County School Board for supporting parents and the innocence of children. The Johnston County School Board gave final approval to policies meant to comply with the Parents Bill of Rights law. Books about gender identity will not be available to elementary school students and elementary teachers are to divert questions from young students about gender identity. The district is also expanding the ban to fifth-grade students.
